Senior Technical Support Engineer - Server VMware Citrix
I am currently seeking a Senior Support Engineer, based in West Sussex, working for the fastest growing and well established IT outsourcing company in Sussex. After recently expanding their support globally, they are looking to bring on a Senior Support Engineer to be a technical point of authority of escalation across a wide range of technologies.
The Senior Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing support to a wide range of clients across the South East with any IT related issue or queries that arise. The Senior Technical Engineer will also be the escalation point for issues that cant be resolved by the 1st and 2nd line support team.
Senior Technical Support Engineer - Server VMware Citrix - Responsibilities:
Providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to clients across the South East
Escalation point for any issue's the 1st and 2nd line support teams can’t resolve
Design and analyze solutions for clients infrastructure
Senior Technical Support Engineer - Server VMware Citrix - Technical Skills
Microsoft Exchange 2003 - 2007 support, troubleshooting and administration
Active Directory support, troubleshooting and administration
Windows Server 2003 - 2008 configuration and administration
VMware ESXi and VSphere - supporting and setting up virtual servers
Windows XP/7 operating system troubleshooting and support
TCP/IP basic network administration
Experience of working for an IT outsourcing company, and working in a busy, multi-tasking environment would certainly be beneficial.
